This ceremony makes it possible to invest the new delegates in their function which will begin next December, at the end of the current mandate. The approach allows “Togolese abroad to take an active part in the multisectoral transformation of the country”, indicated Aliou Dia, resident representative of the United Nations Program in Togo (UNDP).
As a reminder, the 48 country delegates, 22 for Africa, 14 for Europe, 7 for Asia-Oceania and 5 for America, are elected for a three-year term (2022-2025).
