The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), this year, celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. The Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé, was attending a ministerial meeting in New York yesterday to mark the occasion and reminded that UNDP had leveraged for 50 years the recognised neutrality of the United Nations to assist developing countries to progressively realise the aspirations of their population despite the challenges encountered.
