Robert Dussey, the Togolese Minister of Foreign Affairs, is in London since Monday. He will have lunch with Kitack Lim, the new Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
Discussions will focus on the upcoming summit of the African Union on Maritime Security to be held in Lomé on 15 October. He will also discuss bilateral cooperation.
Togo has recently acquired a legal arsenal to protect its territorial waters as well as economic security front, especially with the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
In the afternoon, Mr. Dussey will be meeting the Diaspora. Emmanuel Adebayor, the striker of English club Crytal Palace, is invited.
